As the headline states, I am completely overwhelmed with all of the love on my new set and my page. I can honestly say I was not expecting such a positive response. Thank you to all of my new followers and to those who have been with me over these few months on the first leg of my journey as a Hopeful.
It's hard waiting for your set to go live, as every girl on here can attest. You spend the months eagerly counting down the days, watching your set move slowly higher up in the queue. You've probably looked at your set twenty times by now, I know I did. There are some days that I looked at my set and I was in love with it. There were other days that I looked it and paused over every flaw and wondered if anyone was really going to like it. I know that sounds harsh, don't get me wrong, I was incredibly proud of what I had accomplished. Me, an awkward girl who had never really done any sort of modelling had taken pictures for Suicide Girls.
I hadn't really been on the site much until after I shot my first set. The experience of shooting had in and of itself given me so much to work with and learn from. But immediately after being accepted as a Hopeful, I began pouring over the set on this set and realizing how much I had to learn. And it exhilarated me.
Between me shooting my set "Comic Strip" and it coming out in MR, I have shot three other sets with three different photographers. Every one of these sets I am very taken with and I feel they are much improved because of what I learned shooting my first set and here on the site.
My second set "The Finer Things" comes out in June and was shot by my best friend as a bit of a spur of the moment thing. We wanted to take pictures one day, so we gathered together our collective sexy clothes and did. The photo quality isn't the absolute best because we had no real lighting and the set is pretty much unedited. It was a lot of fun, though and I'm very happy with what we were able to accomplish.
My third shot, which will debut towards the end of July is called "The Winds of Winter." This was shot by @skidtography and has some of the most beautiful images I think. It was incredibly cold when we shot it but I absolutely love how it turned out. It was also a lot of fun to be dressed as a school girl. I went through a time in high school where I owned probably five or ten school girl skirts.
My fourth set is still being edited so I'm not sure when that will be out. It was a post-apocalyptic themed one that we shot in and around this cool abandoned house with paint everywhere. It was shot by TIS Photography.
As it turns out, this awkward girl really loves doing this whole being photographed thing. Being in front of the camera is something I never knew I would enjoy but I have never had more fun. Once again, thank you all for your love and support on my journey this far. It means the world to me and I hope you will be there to help me as these future sets hit MR.
Also, for those of you who follow my comic review, I apologize because I probably will not be posting a video or blog tonight. I was dying my hair with a friend and lost track of the time. I'll get it up as soon as I can.
