Hey guys. This is going to be a rather short edition of the Tuesday night blog. I've been a bit out of sorts healthwise over the last couple of days so I'm going to call it an early night. I may not mention each comic but I will share my overall thoughts on some that really stood out this week.
Alex + Ada
This comic has been developing so beautifully. This issue was really emotional as Ada finally wakes up and adjusts to her first dose of humanity. This has been a winner from day one but this issue was just perfect.
Deadly Class
Man, this was a really intense issue. It gives you a bit more of a glimpse into Marcus' past and the two boys struggle to complete their homework assignment.
The Wake
Alright. I have to admit it. I am a little bit in love with Leeward. This is a big "holy shit!" issue. Everything happens. Crazy stuff... (I'm really tired)
Umbral
I haven't been posting about this one because I missed a few issues after it first came out. I recently caught up, though. This issue goes into a little history to give a bit more information about the Umbral. An interesting plot twist as well.
Serenity
This month's issue was a real attention grabber right from the first panel. There is a lot of crazy happenings on the Serenity as the crew figures out how to rescue Zoe.
Silver Surfer
One of my two #1s of the week. It's a great team working on the book and it makes a good introduction for someone like me, who has not read any Silver Surfer titles. I am interested to see how this goes.
Ghost Rider
Tradd Moore is a fantastic artist who I know best from Luther Strode. With his name on this book, I was instantly intrigued. This first issue I thought was fantastic. It is one of my favorite of the All New Marvel Now #1s, I think. This is a completely different Ghost Rider, with a new ride.
Okay, that's it for me guys. Sorry that this was so short. On Thursday night, I'm leaving for Emerald City Comic Con so I will probably be fairly absent throughout the weekend. I will try to have pictures for you guys when I get back.
Question:
Would you prefer the Comic Strip be a video or a written blog? I'm debating whether to try it out. Lemme know! Good night!
