BUSY BUSY BUSY... (And Now A Break)
Haven't updated for a couple of days so I thought I would shoot out a quick one. Been super busy with school and preparing to move to SF. I've been mashing as much work as I can get done so I can take this weekend off to go to Mammoth with some of you guys out there, which will be a fucking blast! Can't wait... and lol, I am actually bringing my waffle maker with me because you can't have a great vacation without waffles can you?!!
Anyways, hope you enjoy my short entry today. So I stumbled across these shots the other day when doing some photographic style research and just couldn't help but note to you all that I find girls in this style FUCKING ADORABLE and sexy as well. Don't ask me why, maybe its the polo's and the natural beauty? She's just freaking gorgeous and I love her little freckles, gives her so much personality.
Though it could easily be just because they were shot from Richard Kern, who is a master at what he does. He can really show you the most authentic and true beauty in the human form through the view of his camera lens. From the work I have seen of his he works with the features of each model that gives them character and personality and brings it to light in some of the most simple yet beautiful ways. Anyways... she's a cutie so enjoy Maissa.
OK, thats all for now... I'll be working more on my vector poster here shortly and might even give you all a sneak peak at what it looks like . We will see though.
For now, enjoy a few videos that I have really been enjoying this week. The first is from my all time favorite artist (as for know anyway) City and Colour. This is "The Girl".
The second video is from Ladytron who I have just recently discovered. Fun color usage in the way this video was shot. This is "Tomorrow".
I'll leave you with ONE LAST THING:
Click the link below and listen to my younger cousin Brittany and I as kids "reading" Superman. By reading I mean looking at the pictures and making up the story as we go along. I think I might be in first grade when this was taped. Found this audiotape the other day and had to get it onto a digital format to save it. Enjoy!
Jonathan and Brittany (first grade and pre-kindergarten) - Superman
Talk to you all soon!
