OOOOH YEAH, LET'S GET INAUGURATED UP IN THIS BITCH!
First on a serious note: I, as well as many many other americans today, have felt a sense of pride, an urge for change, a moment of peace, and a burden lifted on this special day in our nation's history. Yes, this inauguration is really just a formality and nothing has "happened" or changed as of yet to make us feel this way. But its the hope for a better tomorrow that almost brings a tear to even my eye, and a sense of comfort in the choice our great nation has made in the man who will lead us there. Lead being the key term here... we all have a part to do, lets hope that the majority of us remember that in the coming term. As cheesy as it sounds, WE together are the United States of America. Together we stand, together we fall.
On a fun note, you know how and BADASS it would have been if Obama came out in front of the crowd with this song playing?!!!!! It would have been EP to the mother fucking IC.
Pass the theme song torch Hogan, Obamamania is taking presience!

PS - I also bought the new Bon Iver EP last night and am actually enjoying it quite a bit. It's definitely not the soul searching masterpiece that For Emma, Forever Ago is but it definitely has its place and purpose. And something I have been enjoying through Kanye West's new album has worked its way into Justin Vernon's tracks as wel;, the use of AutoTune. Yes, I know, it can be overplayed and easily seen as "hokey" and cliche, but when used right I think it gives a palatable taste to the music you might not have been able to achieve any other way. Vernon's AutoTuned track, IMO proves to work well, and the EP is one I will add to my current drives to and from San Francisco.

best song is Blood Bank. I listened to it on loop for about a week when I first heard it. I want to make a video for it.

Woods is the one with Autotune overload, right? When I first heard it I did a "et tu?" but after listening to it again several weeks later I can appreciate the multi layered harmonies that he can create with it.
