Finally they start showing up...
Hey Everyone -
Lets just say life has been busy lately... and I am missing some majorly needed real free time. But today I have found a few minutes to update with some movies I definetly can't wait to check out. AND FINALLY, some posters/movies that are worth talking about!
3:10 to Yuma
(from the Director of Walk the Line)

Seriously I have been waiting for a good western for some time now and it finally has arrived. I have a feeling this will be pretty damn good and absolutely know, and I truly mean KNOW, I will LOVE Ben Foster in this film... the guy is fucking AMAZING in everything I have seen him in. He looks like such a fucking badass in this film:
I guess I just absolutely loved his acting in Alpha Dog as Jake Mazursky (the crystal meth head) with some badass fighting skills (based off of the real life taekwondo champ (at the age 14) that the movie develops his character from). SERIOUSLY if you haven't seen Alpha Dog, RENT IT. It's definelty worth the rental. Here are two great fucking clips of him from that film that give you a taste of the dude's acting:
Just all around looks to be good... As for the poster design, well its just a mock up I did from what hey have out which is just teaser stuff... a nice difference from what you normally see from a western. We will see how the final product turns out though.
Sunshine
(from Danny Boyle director of 28 Days Later and Trainspotting)

The previous trailer to this film left sooo much open that I had a hard time judging if this film would be worth seeing or not. Then I realized it was Danny Boyle who was directing AND saw the trailer above. Now its a must see. I have a feeling its going to be a good psychological thriller and I know Danny Boyle is capable of making us get creeped out at the oddest of things. In a way he has alot of Kubrick-esk qualities in his work which make them dark and unnerving. One thing though... WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL THE POWERS AT HAND TO STOP USING THE FUCKING KRONOS QUARTET SONG FROM REQUIEM FOR A DREAM!!! I mean I love the song and its great for trailers but can we say OVERPLAYED??? I seriously can't begin to list the number of films that have used this in their work since the song was originally developed for Requiem. Still looks amazing and my kind of movie.
And lastly just a tease for something I cant wait to see:
The Darjeeling Limited
(from Wes Anderson director of The Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Rushmore)
His films aren't everyones cup of Cafe Ole (yeah you know what that is, dont fucking lie) but they are for me. I'll sit back and sip of this deep thought delight when it arrives. Nothing more than a poster for now but Im sure we will see more soon enough.
Thats all from me for now... I will leave you with two clips - one is from a fucking classic funny ass film you should watch if you haven't seen it already, Raizing Arizona, and the other is another song from the long list of music I have been listening to recently.
Fucking loooooove the lines in this like "That sumbitch" and "Boy, you got a panty on yur head".
And if you dont know the essence of 2 Live Crew its time to get edumacated:

OK I think I have cleared the mind a bit here .
Catch you all soon,
