Man, I reaaaally think its time for a serious vacation... one where I can just drive off, breathe in the morning air of the countryside, see the ocean at sunrise, sit on the beach at dusk... and enjoy the company of a close friend/loved one.
I haven't been able to really pick up my Wacom pen and design anything worthwhile for over a week now and its starting to drive me crazy. I usually flow with ease at all times, only on rare occasion, when vactions are needed, do I get like this. Oh trust me there are SOME ideas in there but being perfection oriented at times they just arent good enough for full execution.
It even seems my outlets for some creative energy to flow back in have been slightly taken away (moreso showing I really need that vacation
). No Guitar Hero II on XBOX 360 (red ring of death, turned in to Microsoft to get repaired), all the movie posters for the summer suck balls (usually can pull some inspiration from good design there), time out with friends is lacking (seems to be that everyone is busy right now), and so on. Add on top of that all the required daily dutys, moving an apartment load of shit into storage, planning for odd n ends including moving, etc and you have a jumbled mind that needs a little time off.
Not much of a bitch session as a realization that has been coming for some time now. A nice camera would come in handy right now (have a digital but not a real great one) as I would love to just let loose a little and go on a little shooting expedition. All is good though, maybe soon.
