Keep Me Hangin' On
Warholin' It - Part 2
Hey Everyone. I feel like a total douche for not doing any Valentines day posting but oh well. Here is my belated V-Day love for you all . I'm always amazed at how many V-Day haters there are out there... holidays are what you make them, not the other way around. Expectations, expectations....
Anyways, still working on some of my preliminary sketches for the Warhol book cover, got a few more to do(always good to throw out about 50 or so ideas on paper being working up roughs). Just a heads up on the work!
OH! And I have a few people asking about getting a copy of the Poopsmith Christmas 2006 CD Cover Art so here it is (only 450x450 for iTunes coverflow use):
(drag and drop to desktop or right click and save as...)
And give a THANKS to PeaceOrchestra for her beautiful photography for that cover. The girls got some f'n talent!
OK, OK now on to MUSIC: This song has been stuck in my head for the last few days while getting in the groove of doing the Warhol designs. Vanilla Fudge rocked this classic and so far has been the only group I have heard (even over the original done by Diana Ross and the Supremes) to actually evoke the mood that really belongs to the song (it IS a break up song). Great download from iTunes and a suggestion to add to your music playlist. LOL, the guitarist in this video always cracks me up for being so wild.
OK thats all for now! Talk to you all soon,
JP

K this is the first time i've ever done this BUT this girls photography is just outstanding. PLEASE go check out Lavonne's photography at her website. Besides being absolutely beautiful she is a funny girl and a fantastic photographer... maybe she'll do some prints for my work one day, lol.

Anyhow...I'm going to see Factory Girl tomorrow... I'd invite you, but you're probably too busy sorting glass. Remember: clear, green, and brown....
You no longer cuddle me afterwards.
Where has the love gone?
BTW, I think that video calls for another 3 letter net-word.
Vanilla
Fudge
Win!
