Time for the Quote of the Weekend, kiddies!
"Women are like math. Most are impossible to solve, but the ones that add up right (referring to having an epic ass, boobs, and overall smoking hotness) can be quite fun." - Me
But since I feel it's wrong to proclaim something I said as the winner, there's also:
"If you had an STD, I'd still do you!" - A drunken buddy messing with one of our regular bartenders.
The process before starting the new job continues. I was supposed to have all my medical junk (immunization records, blood tests, physical results, etc.) to the company by Fri the 13th, and most was, but the rest takes time. So long as there's still room in the training class, they've be working with me.
I got an email this morning letting me know I absolutely have to get this info to them by this Wednesday, otherwise I have to wait until next month's pre-deployment training. The one this month is to begin on this Sun the 22nd, but I don't know when the next is and I'm already SO looking forward to being done with my current place of employment. Not to mention I'd really, REALLY like to start making that money!!!
Of course, more time before training would be good for one thing... Hitting the gym harder! I work out plenty and mix up my workouts for all around fitness, but there's a fitness test prior to the job:
A one mile run in less than 14 minutes (Cake! I can probably do half that)
Dragging a 180 lbs dummy 50m is less than 0:25s (Should be easy)
One rep bench press of body weight (I have no idea)
See... I don't use the bench press much. Hardly EVER. But I did go to the gym the other day and try to figure it out. Turns out it's about 160-165 lbs. While it's not bad, it's less than I thought it'd be and not great either. Especially considering MY body weight fluctuates between 167 and 170lbs. And I assume they mean MY body weight, or at least I hope.
So I could certainly use the time between courses to improve on that if need be.
Keeping my fingers crossed...
