So last Sunday night I went out and long story short... I got good and drunk, made my way to an empty parking lot and decided it would be a good idea to jump a bush. Well, after clearing said bush, I slipped in some mud and water and busted my ass! All this is according to Rob since I don't remember shit cause at that point I'm out cold with a gash in the back of my head!

Monday at work sucked... Still not sure what I felt more, hangover or concussion!

Fast forward to this weekend...

First, I took Friday off from work so that I could go to a concert. 10 years opened the show strong at 5pm followed by Sevendust who never fails to entertain! Puddle of Mudd was typical and I'm a fan of Chevelle. Lastly though and headlining the tour was Shinedown, and I can't tell you enough how thoroughly disappointed I was after they took the stage.

Now, I have enjoyed Shinedown's music for a long time but had never seen them live before.


The stage setup was amazing (But I've never been to a concert of such size before), the songs where as good as always, and the performance itself was as expected. What ruined it for me though was the fact that Brent Smith (lead singer) was decked out in a "Ring Master" outfit. Granted, I realized that it's the "Carnival of Madness" tour so while it make sense, it's been done before and looked cheesy to me. I just couldn't take the dude seriously after that.

Celebrated my friend Matt's 22nd birthday yesterday at Ashley's, his girlfriend. It was a surprise party that when quite well, even though we wasted the good surprise on someone else.


Even my brother came out to show some love for the bday boy...

And he even put a straw in my beer!

...But I had fun with it.
