I'm finally back from the weekend's festivities... Some friends and I went downtown for a huge concert. The park that the festival was at has docks so we took my father's boat so we had a place to just crash after all the drinking. While everything started OK, but I began running into problems early on.

First, I went to pick up my friend Kerry and realized I forgot my confirmation printout for the tickets. After that we began running more and more behind schedule. Then, once we got to the marina, the dock was wet with condensation and I slipped and fell in to the water, ruining my iPhone, phone car charger and camera charger!

Fortunately my philosophy is that being upset or angry doesn't help the situation, so why bother?

Once we finally got underway things picked up. My brother met me with the ticket printout and the park hadn't opened yet so our friends who drove were waiting for us in line. The park gates opened late, but whatever. It was beautiful, warm, sunny day, the bands were awesome, the drinks were expensive and I ran into a bunch of random friends, old flames, co-workers, and even one crazy chica from this site.

It was the first Planetfest I've been to but definitely not the last.
