So I'm back... Here's the latest:
1) My trip to the BVI for New Year's was great! Before I left, some friends were shocked that I was going alone. But while I was down there I met plenty of great people and partied it up with them. I do wish that I had taken more time to seeing more of the islands and the ship wreck of the coast, but there's always next time!
This is Cane Garden Bay where I stayed...
And some of the folks I met...
New Year's Eve was spent at Foxy's on the island of Jost Van Dyke. This place had it all! Various live bands, food, booze, beach, sand, and even a guy at a nearby stand selling shrooms! Not many pictures were taken unfortunately, but take my workd for it, it was a good time!
2) I am OFFICIALLY out of the military! As of Jan 4, I'm a civilian again.... *sigh* Five long years....
3) Now that I am out, I'm starting the job search. I took a couple different job training courses before I left my last command so I've got my options. I'm opting for the bartending field. The first party that I work was actually almost three years ago, so I have experience, but I recently took a course for a little additional knowledge. And I'm glad I did. Learned some great stuff!
