I've been meaning to post for a couple days now, but here's the latest...
1) I am done with the military! My last day was on the 5th and I look forward to never going back, while still reaping all the veteran's benefits. Muh ha ha!
2) Spent the 6th through the 12th in Stateline, NV with my father, brother, and brother-in-law to do some skiing. Well... Padre did the skiing, the rest of us snowboarded.
I hadn't even seen snow in about 10 years much less snowboarded, but I had a blast! My ass only hurt for the first couple days. After that, the wipe outs became less frequent, but harder! Eventually, I got nearly as good as the other two and I can't wait to go again.
The conditions weren't great though. Only three runs were open the whole time and it didn't snow until AFTER we left. A couple days were so hot that we were sweating on the way down the slopes. Needless to say, most of the snow on the slopes were blown...
3) Sat the 13th... I got my first ever piercings! Really nothing special, just my ear lobes... 14ga. But wouldn't have been able to get 'em two weeks ago!
4) Saw Jeff Dunham live on Sat also... That guy is funny as hell! Walter, Achmed, Peanut, Jose, and Bubba J were all there. The show was held at the Jacksonville Veteran's Memorial Arena and I believe it was sold out. That place seats 17500 people! Granted, some seats weren't filled since that would have people facing the back of the stage, but that's still a shit load of tickets sold!
And lastly...
5) I went for a ride on my father's Honda Goldwing today... Now, I've always ridden sportbikes, but since I haven't re-activated the insurance on mine yet and Dad wanted to take a ride to lunch, he let me ride one of his. And since I wasn't about to get on his brand new Harley after not being on a bike in a while, I picked the '81 Goldwing! I've got to say... I've never liked Touring bikes (Who the hell needs A/C, trunk space and a AM/FM radio on a bike anyway!!!), but I have to say it was comfortable. I even got used to the radio....

Coolest use of shaving cream I've ever seen. Sorry I didn't thank you sooner. I really appreciate the comment on my "Chateau Laroche" set
