The best thing about having friends that can draw is that they can sketch out plans for tattoos directly onto your skin in kohl, instead of trying to imagine what it looks like from paper or transferring it later. Emma and I are working on the rest of my back piece - it's high time I finished it off. Eventually it will be a staff with the cadeseus snakes wrapped around it, one white, one black. Except the white one will be just non coloured - my skin is pale enough!

I was meant to finish it up back in August last year, but falling pregnant screwed that up. It's been too long. I'm also going to get Emma to start working on my thigh - I want roses and stars and owls and geckos and swirls all wrapped around my thigh and coming up over my hip. Sometimes I wish I could draw.

If i ever get a set up here and it wins, all the money is going straight to ink.

This weekend I'm headed off to a friend's 21st. I really need a new corset to go under my dress, but between uni, the kids and the rent inspection I've had no time this week. I haven't even gotten Liv's present - a full length mirror for her new room.

Speaking of rent inspections, the kitchen is actually clean and tidy today, so I thought I'd snap a couple of shots against my wallpaper. It's old and faded and oh so pretty. the rest are in the pics section - go check them out.
