So much has been going on. Married life is good, really good. I think it's calmed me down alot, although I still have my paranoid, I'm not good enough moments, but I think they have decreased somewhat.
We're still trying to sort out what we want to do, where we want to go, and just generally plan our lives, but that's a hard thing to do most of the time, especially when there are two of you.
I'm trying really hard to get my photography going. I'm so frustrated in my job at the moment, and I think if I stay here it's going to drive me crazy. It's not a bad place, the people are lovely, but for 8 hours a day I don't use my brain at all and it's killing me. All i want to be doing is taking pictures. I realise it's such a competitive area, and I have so much to learn still, but I think i can do it, and make a living from it. At least I hope so. I don't know, I may be a little deluded.
Anyway, here is a little of what I've been up to:
I went to Sweden to visit my sister. Our mum and step dad were over from SA as well, and my brother and family made the trip too. It was good to have almost everyone together again. Unfortunately K couldn't come over as he didn't manage to get a visa in time.
We finally made it to the end of another year at work, so it's been really busy setting up for exhibition and graduation. Thankfully, I have been taking a few more pictures at work, mostly of sampleboards and things, but hey, I'm not going to complain!
We also had the Graduation picnic in the park, which is always fun to go to.
I finally got a wide angle lens for my camera, so I no longer have to borrow (and attempt to steal) my brothers. It's such a great lens, so i've been playing around with that.
My amazing tattoo artist started my new tattoo. 3 hours for the outline and a tiny bit of the shading, but I couldn't sit for more than that. The underarm and elbow aren't fun places to stick needles into. It's a mermaid, that wraps around my arm, here's a picture of part of it, but she's alot more detailed than this shows
Went to see the Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes Bowl. With 64000 people there, the atmosphere was amazing. Getting home however, wasn't fun, and took nearly 5 hours. It was worth it though, one because the Foo's were as amazing as always, and two because they brought Alice Freaking Cooper on as a guest. Amazing.
And lastly, this is me
Hope you're all well? I'm sorry if I haven't replied to messages, or been really slack. I'm going to say I'll try to be better, but I'm not sure if that'll actually happen or not, so I'm sorry in advance!
xxz
I was wondering if you could do me a favour regarding the SG shop? I want to get my stuff delivered to my stepdad in England but I first wanted to know if you know what the shipping fees are like to the cold place
The fees for SA are astronomical!
