I had the most awesome news yesterday!
K got the text to say he could pick up his passport, and his visa was granted
He rang me to let me know, and we booked the ticket there and then, so he arrives the 4th September, 28 days time!
I can't believe there's actually a date, it hasn't properly sunk in yet, we've been waiting so long and I never believed it would actually happen, so now that it has it's just unreal.
I apologise in advance for boring everyone with my countdown for the next 4 weeks.
I'm going down to my brothers this weekend as he has a gig on Sunday with Voivoid and Nashville Pussy. Will be nice to get to take some photos again. Will post them as soon as i have them.
I also decided to start boxing this week. I found an old school boxing gym not far from where i live, and finally plucked up the courage to go. You could almost chew through the testosterone in the place, and I think they're now under the impression I actually want to be a professional boxer, but I really enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong, it was 2 hours of skipping, punching, pressup torture, but the adrenaline rush after made it almost worth it. Could barely move the next day though.
I have to go back next week purely to prove to them, especially the trainer Chip, that I'm not a big girl and can keep up with them.
Oh, my set shot by the awesome Miro has a date to go into MR It'll be on your computer screens on the 29th September. It was so much fun to shoot, and hopefully that shows. Here's a sneak preview

This weekend, I need to get back to studying. I need to get another certification (this time, Sun Certified Web Component Designer (SCWCD)), because I am pretty sure I am going to start looking for another job in the very near future. So time to put some work into getting ready. Other than that, general loafing.
