I've read a lot of Black Library stuff I'd say out of the Warhammer books then Gotrek and Felix is definitely amongst the best, there are other series that are worth getting and really good like Malus Darkblade which is an impressive inversion on the norm since the main protagonist is undeniably evil but still likeable but unlike Malus Darkblade and every other Warhammer series which is limited to 3 - 5 books Gotrek and Felix is an on going story. The only book I read and didn't like was Orcslayer which was a woefully bad and clunky mess probably due to Nathan Long being a relatively new writer taking on established characters after a popular writer. In fact Gotrek and Felix is so popular that supporting characters have got their own books now, Ulrika the vampire a former love interest of Felix's in Bloodborn and Grey Seer Thanquol a recurring nemesis of the duo in Grey Seer.
I learned a long time ago that you don't need to be intelligent at all to be management in retail you just need to say yes a lot so none of the managers have any common sense or brains at all really.
