Bit of a short one this week, not too much to say really its been a really quiet week.
Got my initial results for the first assignment, which were the 3D models i showed on here a few weeks ago, and its really good. I got 80/100 which is pretty damn awesome! An A or First starts at 75 so im pretty damn chuffed about it.
Finally got around to getting my superhero in DC Universe Online to level 30, going to be fun to see all of the end level content. The only other thing ive really been up to apart from working everyday this week (finally some work!) was to get ahold of a copy of pretty much the best film ive seen in ages, The Troll Hunter!
Its such an amazing Norwegian film that it kinda makes me wish that Trolls did exist like that, watch it if you can
I have some more Games Workshop minatures to paint over the weekend which will be a great few days of relaxation for me. Ive been a collector and gamer for about 20 years now, just love the history and the look of the Sci Fi setting.
This is the most recent minature i have, he is made by the Forge World division of GW, they specialise in resin larger peices for the games.
The only real bad news i have had recently is that the comic shop i work at has screwed up any chance i had to go to Kapow the london comicon because they company wants to host a 'Dr Who Day' at all of their stores smack in the middle of the weekend that the con is running. If it goes ahead (we still dont know what if anything will happen and its only 3 weeks away) im going to end up dressed as one of the Doctors promoting something that really doesnt need any more promotion behind it. Atleast my Manager is going to be there helping out at the company stand (bar-steward
) so im going to give him a couple of bits to get signed by two of my comic book artist hero's John Romita Jr and Lenil Yu.
anyways, 4 weeks of uni to go, best get on with some work
