This is just a short video blog really, apart from finding out the name of the beautiful lady at CB1 coffee shop which is Jenny, its been a quiet week with a lot of films being watched
I went into CB1 yesterday after i had popped to forbidden planet to see what had turned up (just Wizard magazine). i was determined to atleast get her name. Got in there and found myself shaking bacause i was so nervous, i managed to order my mocha coffee (i always drink a mocha wherever i go) and got to a seat without spilling it. Drank the coffee to try and steady myself and as it was quiet i decided i would ask her name on the way out and amazingly i managed to do it which is frankly a massive step for me, so im a little happy about it
As for films ive been watching a bit of a mix of great films, not just the bad horror i usually do see. here are the trailers of the films ive watched for your pleasure
Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist - great little film, pretty funny.
AngelA an awesome french film by Luc Besson which is thoughtful and wonderful.
Casshern an amazing japanese superhero movie which is stunning to look at and has the most haunting wonderful soundtrack ive ever heard in a film.
and finally Nausicaa of the valley of the Wind:
If anyone reading this blog watches even one of these films it would enrich their lives, they are wonderful films in their own ways and this is a little insight into the film collection i have and the breadth of films i watch. I will watch any film from any genre in the hope of experiencing a story which will bring out an emotion or make me think about the film, i love film that much and love to experience as much of it as i can.
Have fun everyone and i will also leave you with a some music to counteract all the films
