I coulda sworn my membership expired. I guess it didn't. Who knew?
It's been several months, so no one's probly gonna read this. I've been good. Got back from Vegas a couple of weeks ago. Got to see my best friends. It's funny, but we see each other so rarely that everytime we meet up I'm surprised how comfortable I am with them. It's a nice surprise though.
I'm going to Europe in June. Bought tickets night before last. I'm flying out of JFK, and landing in Dusseldorf. I'm gonna try to learn some French and German, but I'm terrible with languages, so I'll probably end up coming off as another asshole American who can't bother to learn about the country he's visiting before he arrives. That's okay, though. I'll just end up charming everyone with how polite I'll be.
Speaking of Europe, does anyone have suggestions or ideas about where to go? I'm traveling with a friend who speaks German, French, and Dutch, and we're gonna get rail passes so we can travel through most of the continent. So far we're planning on seeing Paris, Brussels, Vienna, Amsterdam, Bratislava, Frankfurt, and anywhere else along the way. I'll be over there for about two and a half weeks, and we're not making any really solid plans, so it'll be a pretty flexible trip.
Question: Have you ever read a story, or watched a movie to television show that was completely depressing, made you feel so sad and self reflective inside, but that also made you really happy you had experienced it? I just watched a movie (and am now reading the book) that made me feel like that. Strange feelings.
Let me see you smile
