I don't know what to write. But I'm tired of being reminded of my scary girl dodging adventure every time I look at my profile, so I'm gonna find something to fill this space up with:
Music: food of the soul! And that reminds me:
(^worst segue ever^)
Does anyone out there know much about cameras? I'm researching for a new one. I've only really ever used point and shoots, but I'd like to try my hand at something a bit more advanced. I've been looking at SLRs, but today I was in a shop, and the lady behind the counter did a good job of helping me narrow down exactly what I want to use it for. Now I'm thinking something a little less technical than an SLR is in order. Something that I can take good quality pictures with, at a high resolution, but not so specialized that I'll need to spend thousands of dollars extra on additional lenses. I'm thinking about a Cannon PowerShot SX20 IS. It seems like a good stepping stone between point and shoots and SLRs.
Welsh Corgi
That last paragraph was a bit boring, so I thought I'd spice up this journal with a picture of an adorable puppy. I had a friend who used to email me pictures of Welsh Corgis. He was obsessed with them. He once said that heaven, for him, would be to lie on the floor with a couple dozen Welsh Corgi puppies all around him. Funny guy.
Speaking of interesting friends of mine...my best friend is afraid of falling up. He's afraid gravity will suddenly cease to affect him, and he will float out into space. That's his deepest, most alarming fear. I am surrounded by interesting people. Oh, I've got a bit of a crush on a checkout girl at Wal-Mart. She's very cute, and kind of geeky, judging by her conversations with other customers in line. As of right now I haven't gotten the courage to say anything other than "Hi, how are you." I go through her line, every time, and every time I find myself longing to say something. To reach out, and embrace her, and look into her eyes, and let her know how beautiful I think she is. Unfortunately, I'm a huge coward.
