I hate this new layout. They obviously did absolutely no usability testing. The main thing that keeps me on SG is the people I've befriended, reading their journal updates and commenting when I have the time and something to say plus the SGChicago group. Now it's next to impossible for me to easily read journals, going from one part of the site to another is confusing and I hate all this PINK! Why can't they have this site skinned in other colors that the user can select? And WTF is up with this TOP 5 Friends Shit!!! Hello MySpace! That is very very hmmmm what's the correct word to insert here??? I'm sure you have a good one figured out in your head so lets just use that one.

As for me, I've finally gotten the theater wire completely pulled throughout the master bedroom, the four ceiling speakers in the bedroom and the two in the master bath are installed. The iPod - iPort is hooked up and the cable is pulled inside the walls and now I have to move the plasma mount over 4 - 6 inches to center it between the two front inwall speakers. After that is all finished I can then paint my room. I never knew paint cost so much. I was trying to get paint to match the walls in the rest of the house to touch up and its $45 per gallon and one gallon of this paint does NOT cover very much! I refuse to repaint my house in this "Natural Wicker" color if I'm going to repaint everything.

I just want it to all be done.

On a side note, it seems like I have successfully hacked my gamer computer into a Mac using OSX x86 code. I'm actually writing this on it right now. I like it but it is taking some getting use to. The control and alt keys are different so control-c control-v and control-x on the pc are now alt-c alt-v and alt-x respectively and right click and dragging is not the same. I'm still using a Microsoft keyboard so I don't have those special Mac keys so I'm thinking of getting that wireless Mac keyboard. The only major thing that is not working is the sound and I can live with that, at least for a while because I don't listen to music on this system anyway. It was built for gaming and I honestly don't game on a PC anymore. At least not with the new Xbox 360 out. When are all those 360 games going to be out that were at E3 like Gears of War! I'm thinking of making this x86 Mac into my work computer. Mac's are so much better at desktop publishing and art then a PC naturally is. I mean, you can make a PC into a great desktop publishing machine, but out of the box, Mac's have always done it better.
