I would suggest shutting down and planting over with trees
and shrubbery all these large squares in the center of
the capital city. This is where trouble always starts.
Some examples from history, in no particular order:
Taksim Square - Turkey
Tiananmen Square - China
Tahrir Square - Egypt
Trafalgar Square - Britain
Syntagma Square - Greece
Shahbag Square - Bangladesh
Wenceslas Square - Czechoslovakia
Zablo Square - Zablo Hills
