Venus Fly Trap


I never knew hate could feel so much like love


we played you show me yours
and I'll show you mine
she showed me her despair and I cried
our weakness was our sexiest disguise
and the truth was the ugliest lie
then we fell in lust and I broke my wings
she put them in a sling
and washed away all my dreams
I can still taste the distain form her part lips
and still feel the pain as my heart rips
I placed myself deep inside her
abandoned home
I was needed yet alone
then I cast my first sin without a stone
she asked "do you love me?"
I lied and said yes
she complied and removed her dress
invited me to come inside her beautiful mess
I wiped the tears from my eye and confess
I remember not ever feeling
her heart beat below her breast
she devoured me whole from inside my chest
and now my soul may never find rest
