So I gave blood yesterday... First time... It went well... I filled my baggie in 7 min flat. The girl in front of me passed out, so that was kind of exciting. And the tubes that ran into the bag were resting against my arm and they were unnervingly warm. I'm glad I did it, and I will be going back in when my 56 days is up. I'm also going to get on the Bone Marrow registry... Canadian Blood Services. Good times...
OK... so I'm taking a pole... You make a pact with your significant other to not buy X-mas gifts. You break it 'cause it's your first X-mas together and you know that the 2 presents you got the person are 2 things they REALLY wanted but couldn't afford... The reason for the pact is because you are both shit poor and really can't afford to be spending the money... Does that make you:
A) A wonderful BF-GF for getting gifts that were thoughtful that your loved one wouldn't ever buy for themself.
B) An asshole for putting your BF-GF in an awkward position.
C) You were expected to break the pact, its your first X-mas together.
D) A moron if you expect anything in return.
E) Sweet for thinking of them despite the pact.
Let me know what you think... I'm getting nervous 'cause I splurged...
Anyway... Tripping the Rift is on... See ya!

I got my flu shot today. So no blood donation. I fill up my bag in 5 minutes flat! The nurse's are always like, "Whoa, you have big veins!" Heh. That would suck though if I ever had to worry about bleeding to death.....okay, new topic
I choose option F) Have it wrapped and ready for Christmas, and if she DOES spring a gift on you, pop it out, but if not, spring them on her for New Year's, saying you couldn't resist because you care about her so much. (And if she says 'what about our pact-tell her you got boxing day deals! Hah! A girl loves a bargain!)
Some people ( me being one of them ) feel like ASS when I can't afford a gift and someone has gone ahead and got me one anyway when I aske dthey not. But it's up to you. You could make it a romantic dinner night. Or a couple gifts before xmas surprise.
I dunno man. Back rubs and kisses go a long way.
