Big and Bald
Okay, so at work we're raising money to buy and send cows to Mwanza, Tanzania... Why cows? Well to make yogurt of course! From what I'm told there is something in yogurt that is benificial to those suffering from HIV and AIDS... Sooo cows it is! Personally I'm just interested in helping people who wouldn't otherwise have access to medicine and food that they need... Anyway, so I'm standing there, and someone says to me, we have only raised $30. WTF? A cow cost $300 (we get 'em at a VERY good price). So I say... If we can raise more money than the HR Dept. I will shave my head! Long story short... I'm going to be bald sometime next week 'cause that little bit of motivation was all my co-workers needed to start openning there wallets and losening their purse strings... We raised almost enough to send 3 cows over, and they are planning to raffle off the right to do the shaving... Sooooooooooooo... I'm pretty excited that we've done such a good job at raising so much money... I am sad that my co-workers want to shave my head so badly...
------> w00t! for my Fanshawe Friends who are back to school next week! I am soooooo happy for you all <-------
Also... More happy news... I have a girlie friend!
hehehehe... She's nice, smart, funny, and she likes me! (that's the best part).
Oh! Went to see my buddy Ike's band play at the Last Drop on friday! AMAZING!!! (but they weren't happy with the set). Icewater is a very cool band! And they played an accoustic set, loved it! And I found out that two of the guys are touring with Neverending White Lights this summer when they go on tour with Our Lady Peace! Very cool!!! Friday night was the last night that Icewater will be appearing under that name... Time for a change I guess...
Anyway, that's all I've got... but I think that was a fair bit!

Its just I kind of find aid to African countries to be kind of sketchy becausemy grandparents lived and worked there for years and told me lots of stories about aid being sent and misused because they didn't know what they were doing.
So, anyway, the moral of the story is I wasn't trying to demean your fundraiser.
PS. Congrats on the lovely ladyfriend.
Congrats on the girlie friend. Very nice for you.
