OK...time for another journal entry...
First off, any and everyone who is into Skinny Puppy, visit this site Go Ask Ogre. It was created by josiekins. Go to her page and tell her nice work.
I want to ask everyone this question: What was the most HONEST thing you have done...and felt proud that you did it?
A few days ago I was in my bank to cash a $300 check. The teller count's out $800 and hands it to me. I stood there for a few seconds to see if he would realize what he did, but he didn't. So I finally said to him, "Uh...you might want to look at the check and slip that I gave you..." He did and I held up the $800 to him. He turned three shades of green and couldn't thank me enough for showing him his error.
Now, I know most people would have bailed, but I didn't want him to catch what he did wrong as I was walking out and cause a scene. Plus I feel that the guilt I would have experience would have snatched $800 worth of something of mine from under my nose.
I felt proud that I did that and I don't regret it one bit!
On a more morbid note: I hate it when people tell me I look like Prince. A few days ago someone said that shit to me. I was reminded of a dream I once had that I actually made into a short story: The story was called "Rinse". It is basically about a guy who is told he looks like Prince so much that it drives him crazy to the point where he stalks the people who say this shit to him and slices off their bottom lip. When these people tried to say "Prince", it would come out as "rinse" because they had no bottom lip. Cool huh...?
The From-Me-to-You songs for the moment:
"Talk Talk" by Talk Talk (for Neko)
"Rub til it Bleeds" by PJ Harvey (for BoundByTies and DevilsMistress)
"Melt!" by Siouxsie and the Banshees (for Voltaire)
"Love" by Skinny Puppy (for josiekins)
and
"Decades" by Joy Division (for Stina and Friday
and 's
PS At the request of one of the greatest people I know (see journal comment below) I''ve submitted my first desktop to the SGArmy. It is Miss Friday! What do you think? Huh? Huh? Huh?
