6.40 am on a sunday...
So, i may have been a little off with the myspace.com remark from my previous journal entry but hey...
Btw, i did eventually have Azumanga Daioh imported (44 R1 imported inc. shipping and tax vs. R2 100 in HMV) and it arrived friday morning, watched the final volume on friday night (a seven episode marathon) and it was so sad to see the series end. I really did feel a little depressed after it as the realization stuck me during the graduation scene that this is the last episode, there are no more after this - it all ended on a happy note but i guess i was just sad because nothing in years has made me laugh so much as Azumanga Daioh has and Vol. 5 really went and pulled out all the gags (we even get to see the Yukari-Mobile in full terrifying action, New York cabbies have fuck all on Yukari!) to go out with a huge lung busting bang.
I can not urge you enough to check this series out even if you're not a anime fan, it's distributed in the UK and the US by ADV Films and is available from most online DVD rental services.
Update
Please donate to British Divers Marine Life Rescue - you can use PayPal. It seems these guys have quite an expenses bill to pay, something they mounted up over the weekend with the whale.
My ISP will never learn, they've been bugging me about the amount of bandwidth i have been using and while they have a valid point they're also upgrading me to an 8mbps inkernet connection sometime after April for FREE! w00t! That is, if i am still living here... dum dum dummmm.
Also, if anyone wants a 25 voucher for two months free membership with LOVEFiLM then message me as i received another two vouchers in the mail today with my DVD, more info can be found HERE.
