So another weekend passes by and it's some crazy time in the morning, Friday night went well, got back early Saturday morning (4.30am?) after paying 25 for a taxi to go 10 miles! ugh! I've started playing WOW again... been busy getting back up to speed with my main character. I also watched two movies this weekend, well, four i suppose but two movies that i haven't seen before, but anyway, first up was About Schmidt which was pretty good, it's funny how Jack Nicholson always manages to pull off playing the slightly disturbed in the head sort of characters! And i also watched Guerilla: The Taking Of Patty Hearst which was about the Symbionese Liberation Army and quite a fascinating movie it was too, i had no idea any of that had happened.
I also downloaded Madagascar (because it's not that good and my sister and mom want to watch it) and Howls Moving Castle (because i wanted to watch it again and i wasn't waiting for the UK release although i will buy it) on DVD from USENET along with Jeremy Clarkson's Heaven & Hell as a video file purely because i wanted to see what he did with/to the cars he didn't like and his review of the new BMW M5 makes me laugh. Anyway, i downloaded all that lot at the same time in the middle of the day, all 12GB+ of it so i my ISP just loves me right now. Hmmm...
Talking of downloads, i bought the Test Icicles album 'For Screening Purposes Only' from the iTMS (6.32) and it's really quite good so if you're looking for some new ear candy give that a spin.
Anyway, i'll leave this here as i'm borrowing a document shredder today and i have over six years of bank statements and bills and miscellaneous bullshit to destroy... my sister has put up 1/1 odds (double or nothing) that i'll loose a finger in the process - anyone fancy a flutter?
P.s. Check out these scans from video game mags printed in '82/83... (digg)

Shredders are pretty shit in my opinion, unless they are huge.
Lighter fuel every time
Keep well mate
I loved those video game pages. That's way further back than I go: I remember Crash and Your Sinclair from the early 90s. That was fun.
