Photos: heavily edited, redacted, blacked out, censored and modified. Like the report on Pat Tillman's death. But wait! My photos aren't faked, like the Army report, so there's something....
Plans proceeding apace to start working on fixing up our new house, if the rain would just stop for a bit. I think once the El Nino begins in earnest in January I'll be begging for water. It looks like it's going to be bad. Good news for the commercial tuna industry (not as if we get much benefit at all from all those millions of tons of fish they take), but we'll be in near-drought conditions.
By the way, my significant other is deeply involved with fisheries sustainability issues, much of which has rubbed off on me just by osmosis and from listening to he and his friends argue when they're drinking. There's a wealth of new information on the subject, but here are links to a couple of articles to get you started if this sort of thing interests you. It's not just about whales, dolphins, and Atlantic bluefin.

I also still hope to be able to go to Manila next month. And of course, I have plans for Hawaii in January. Added to all this is the ongoing planning for my nightclub. Looks like March for that to be open. Too busy....

wonders why people forget to pack their brains when they travel
Based on my flying experiences (1K and 3+ million miles), most people are equipped with just enough ego to believe their brains will not fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of them.
