Thanks everyone for your comments! The "local" beers in Palau are either American, Japanese, or Filipino. They have one local brew called Red Rooster, I think. In the RMI the boys drink American, Australian or Kiwi beer almost exclusively. I love fish of any kind, but especially reef fish like grouper. Bottom fish is good too, like wrasse and snapper. Tuna, mahi mahi, marlin, swordfish, and rainbow runner are harder to come by (thanks, U.S., Taiwan, and Japan, for taking all our fish). Ono (wahoo) is kapu for women here.
