I just had a very long conversation w. my roommate about what we call "the existential void", what my life is like now that I feel it, and what my life was like when I didn't feel it.
So, uhm... the conclusion that we came to was, the last time that I _really_ didn't feel an existential void was with my first girlfriend, when I was in school, we were in love and used to trip or roll together on a regular basis.
Now, I am an office employee creating software that the man will be using, I haven't been in love for years (my last couple of relationships, they were 'romantically bankrupt', so to speak), and I haven't had a good trip in years.
I am so totally fucked.
