So I bought MHW for PS4, about $75 with tax, and it was a wonderful game especially if you're a grinder. The armor options and character creation feature is splendid, your little cat that tags along has some great customization and armor options as well. There is also a piggy in the game that gives you a few bonus items as long as you give the piggy love after each mission. The story of the game is pretty short, but the monsters within the game are beautiful as well as the graphics. My only complaint is that the story is too short and the co-op play needs work. Co-op partners can not watch cut scenes with you and you can only casually hang out at the top floor. Over 10 people can be connected to your multiplayer room, but missions are limited to up to 4 people per mission and some missions you have to complete by yourself until the cut-scenes are over, then you can fire a flare or those standing by can simply join. Monster difficulty does adjust to how many players are in the mission and the level each player is, so if you think you can get an easy kill with 3 other level 40+ players while you're level 9, you're in for a surprise!
Here is a clip of me fighting an Elder, note that most monsters are passive unless you aggravate them. Therefore, in this Monster Hunter World, people are actually the cruel ones, not the monsters lol.
