It's midterms week and I'm plodding through. So far, so good, but Thursday has the dreaded A&P (anatomy & physiology). It's only dreaded because the instructor's style of testing has no logic or system behind it; you really have to know every word she has ever said in class and some other stuff too. Even if it's about a frog. Never mind that all the students in the class are in various (human) nursing programs, not the vet program... So I can't really plan my studying by thinking "oh, we'll have to do skin assessments all the time, so the integumentary system is obviously really important." None of my other classes are like this so it's a new and disorienting experience.
Of course if this is my biggest problem right now, I should probably point out that life is pretty great.

I see where she's coming from though. I'd rather have my students really know their stuff than be liked.
