Me & Zacky Vengeance from Avenged Sevenfold!!!




WARNING: this is going to be the longest blog i have ever written so be prepared

so as some of you know i went on kind of a road trip this past weekend to Detroit and then Ohio to see Avenged Sevenfold, the best fucking band in the world. i left my area at around 9:30-10:00 in the morning because the friend i was with wanted to take a detour and goto this record store before the show. it only takes like 2 1/2 hours to get to Detroit from here but i was determined to get to the venue three hours early just so there was no chance i would miss out on my meet and greet opportunity. so after checking into our hotel (which we were told A7X was actually staying in but we never saw them there ) we walked out into the cold, me only wearing the shortest skirt i own and my Vengeance University Hoodie which covered the skirt so it looked like i was just walking around in fishnets and a sweatshirt . you can imagine the kind of comments i got walking down the streets of Detroit hehe.

we get to The Fillmore in Detroit and the line wasn't very long at that point but that wasn't even a problem for us. i joined the A7X fan club and got these jump in line passes so by the end of the night we were at the front of the line . so as soon as i get there i am meeting people who have seen me on myspace...lots of people seemed to know who i was. i'm sure the pink hair has a lot to do with it a guy starts coming around hanging posters on light post and handing out stickers and people are mobbing him trying to get anything they can. me and my friend are there also and my gay friend thinks the guy is pretty cute (which he was) so he starts talking to him. he introduces himself and then me as yOyO. the guy turns to me and says "yOyO from the street team" and he use my last name! i'm like yeah how'd you know that. he introduces himself as Seth and tells me he was the guy i contacted about promoting through email about a week ago. he had actually sent me some materials like stickers and posters but they didn't get to me before the show. so he tells me he needs to go inside to hang stuff up in the venue then turns to the crowd and says "alright yOyO is in charge of the stickers and promoting outside now so if you want some you've gotta talk to her" he throws huge stacks of stickers in my bag and all of a sudden i'm helping out this official Warner Brothers rep promote A7X!! i'm not going to lie...i felt pretty damn special here are some of the good pics i got from that. i was also promoting Vengeance Univeristy Zacky's clothing line which is something i've been in charge of for over a year now




yes i was VERY fucking cold and we were waiting outside for over three hours.

so after i am done promoting i am trying to find out about the meet and greet. i was asking all official type people and no one seemed to know anything about it. i was getting a lil worried so i went into my productive mode talking to everyone i could even people that were already inside the building. i ended up talking to A7Xs tour manager!! so literally like five mins before the doors opened Seth comes running out and has my name along with the other meet & greet people on this list. he tells me to round them all up because i'd been hanging with them all day. this is when the story gets a lil crazy. they are across the street in the regular line and i'm in the "jump in line pass" line and instead of going over to them i call out to them. then signal to them to come over because the meet & greet is about to happen. these girls are at the front of their line so as they start to come over to me the entire line starts to follow screaming and running at me like a wild mob of like over 200 people!!! apparently they thought i was signaling to them that the doors were open and they could come in so yeah i almost caused a riot i wish someone would've had a camera cause it was the CRAZIEST sight ever.

so we are now waiting inside for the meet & greet in a group of about 10-15 people. the Seth guy comes over and is like "everyone move for a second i need to talk to yOyO" making me feel pretty fucking important he starts talking to me about doing more promoting and what his job entails and pretty much asking me if i want help out!!! like promoting for A7X would be my dream job so i'm pretty shocked this is all happening. and i'm not really sure why he singled me out as the person he wanted out of the other meet & greet people there....we were all kind of in the same boat, i just emailed him and asked for more materials.

so anyway lets get to the good stuff hehe after the first band is done we are taken down stairs where there are some tables with markers and i actually start shaking and stuff i was so fucking nervous. they walk out and sit down and i see Zacky sitting there and at that moment my life was seriously complete. like i've been soooooo close to meeting him before and it just wouldn't happen. and not all of A7X was there, M.Shadows and the Rev didn't come out so there was a chance that Zacky could of been MIA and i feel very lucky that he wasn't. as soon as i'm in front of him before i can even say one word he says to me "Hey yOyO, whats up sweetheart? Nice to finally meet you" i pretty much died right there. like i knew he knew who i was but it just really surprised me when said my name. i don't even remember what i fuckin said to him but i remember everything he said to me. he asked if i still had the glove and i siad yes and showed him i was wearing it. then asked to get a pic. he stands up, puts his arm around me then says right in my ear "oh wow you smell good" i was pretty much a puddle on the floor by that point he then thanks me for all the support and everything i do for his clothing line and says he really appreciates it. the whole experience was the best thing that has ever happened to me. to know all my hard work pays off and that he is so aware of it makes me the happiest girl in the world.






so the concert is going on when we all get back out. i thank Seth again for all his help and he says if i do a good job promoting he will def hook me up at more a7x shows

the pit and barricade are packed and i'm kind of not wanting to fight my way up to the front like normal just because i'd already had an amazing night. but that all changed as soon as A7X got on the stage. they started rocking out, the pit got insane (like worse than any other pit at any other A7X show i've been to and i've seen them 9 times) and i wanted to be up there. so i found a space on the edge of the barricade right by Zacky and i was in heaven. there is no other feeling than being up front at an A7X concert. i got shoved and pushed onto the ground a couple times but the bouncers were right by me and totally looking out for me. all of them kept telling me what a tough chick i was to be so little and fighting it out in the pit. Zacky sees me, smiles and points at me and gets this look on his face like "how'd she make it up to the front". i am always right there in front of him and he always makes sure to point or give me a little sexy smile hehe

so they rock the fuckin house. i only got a couple of good pics at that show






the next morning we are off to Columbus Ohio to see them again



...a three hour drive from Detroit and i drove the entire trip we only get to the venue an hour and half early this time because we have the jump in line passes and no meet and greets. we hang with the rest of the fan club people and i hand out the rest of the stickers that Seth gave me. the doors open and i run to the front of the barricade to claim my spot in front of Zacky. people were already there so this really sweet girl named Brittany lets me squeeze in next to her and i am officially front row for my 9th A7X concert. the mosh pit was unruly at this venue too, no pit hospitality . they start to push and push and push and its only the first opening band. by the time A7X comes on we are alll so smashed together no one can really move. its been a couple days and my chest still looks like this from being smashed on the barricade



but it was more than worth it. this show was even better than Detroit. they had so much energy and stage presence and just fuckin tore shit up!!! they blew the fucking roof off the place it was amazing. i wish there were words to explain what i feel when i see those boys rocking the stage, theres no other feeling in the world like it. Zacky of course saw me again...he was in the middle of a guitar solo and gave me this little sexy "how you doin" kind of nod i tried to give one back but got all giddy and just started laughing gah i'm such a dork. i got some real good pics at this show even though i had to use my moms camera since mine broke, but i got some good shots

so obviously this past weekend was the best weekend of my life. i can't even imagine my life without A7X, they fucking rock my world more than anyone could ever know
