So far things are good and yesterday was a great day:
Got a job interview at 11am... passed it... training starts on monday and is going to be a week and a half, 6 hours a day paid training: Phone customer service... the environment at that office seems quite good, so let's see what comes up... and then if i get the job after the training i'll be working the night shift from midnight till 8am... not my cup of tea, but it is well paid...
then i came back home for lunch and then went to tel aviv to the beach to meet with friends, we were supposed to meet at 6pm so i got there on time and my phone went on like crazy with calls... everyone called in at the last minute to let me know they were running late... 3 hours late.... so i spent 3 hours on the beach by myself chilling and swimming, then everyone arrived and we had a good time, nothing special, just a great time among friends... midnight swimming with beautiful girls and having being tired... i went to the water like 4 times... in total i spent a bit more than 7 hours there... until 1:30am or so....
then i realized i had to take a taxi home, because there were no more buses to my city, and to my surprise i got into the Israeli version of Cash cab i managed to answer a few things but got booted out of the cab eventually due to the 3 strikes...
1. Who's the singer that first sang (i don't even remember the name of the song)? the answer was Bruce Springsteen.... completely lost on that one....
2. Who's the current mayor of New York? got William Bloomberg thanks to a friend over the phone .... the answer was Michael Bloomberg.... so i got nothing....
3. What country was Pol Pot the "president" of? no idea... i got clues on rice and vegetation, was nervous and tired and said China, and then Vietnam.... the answer: Cambodia...
so i got dumped just outside of the city limits and got to take another cab... at least it wasn't as expensive as taking one all the way from tel aviv at 2 am....
