I was recently watching a mini marathon of LA Ink. I usually like the show. I have been a fan of Kat Van D for a while. I think she is one of those people you either love or hate.
Anyway, the new season started and they said two of the tattoo artists were no longer on the show. One had moved back to Chicago and one had "moved on." Usually when someone "moves on" it means they were fired or left. SO I went online to find out what had happened. I read an interview where one of the artists said they were let go by the producers because they wanted tattoo artists who were "more interesting." I never understand why these reality shows have to be faked. Why can't they just film? Why do they have to add made up crap? Now they have a new manager who is a total air head (I found out she was on Rock Of Love so it is obvious she is a plant by the producers) It makes me wonder if the tattoo stories are even real or if they make those up also.

As for poor Kat.... she looked ROUGH! Like someone who has not lived an easy life.
I can post some pics if you are interested.
