i think i just wrote a cool editorial about shredding in the guitars group, i'm sort of proud of it i guess. local rock show was slightly lame tonight... had fun with friends anyway i guess. Did someone intentionally decide it was Brit Week for SG sets or something? I like it, whether it was on purpose or not.
edit:
HEEE!! i pissed off some...

Ah listing the good with the bad I see.

That show was lame. But David and Daniel turned out to be cool.
annalee:
Yes I found it really offensive but the actual points you made were good.

geez playing the guitar has become such a damn consumer hobby. today some fool brought his new SG (yeah he bought a NEW one as if there weren't way too many out there already, along with telecasters- and man is he proud of it) over and inside the case he had "Love Potion #9." Love Potion #9 is a shiny little woman-shaped black bottle with...

I'd say to those same kids: "Don't get good at guitar cuz you might end up as angry and bitter as Yourhog."

I say pick up th ehand drums or didge or some other tribal instrument that is easy to learn and play.

looks like i'm updating again, in case anyone still bothers to look at this. i sincerely apologize for disappearing for so long- for one thing i was having trouble with the issue of why i kept coming to this site. I have sort kept myself away from the "beaver scoping" (as Niav phrased it in such a charmingly blunt manner) as punishment for not doing...

Eff YOU Afroman!!! I heard he doesn't even have a damn Afro anymore. He is such a badass I wonder how many black fans that man has. My band has 2, and one of our members has an Afro. Come see our Afro(tm) next time. Hope everyone's memorial day was good. I worked for time+1/2. sorry.

SAVE DISNEY!!!

Can this be for real?? I honestly cant tell for certain, but it seems so! Perhaps we should start an organisation to Save Catholicism or Save the Fireants or Save Starbuskers.

("starbuskers" is a word I made up today that refers to the jackasses that play their acoustic guitars and sing stupid songs loudly at Starbucks- they are everywhere and they can not...

Went to a local show (where we weren't playing for a change) last nite that was pretty cool in some ways and not in some others. I finally "met" this dude named Tony at the show- sadly he's one of the guys that hangs out at the coffee shop all the time but I've never talked to him before because i am quiet and an...

Yeah, I really didn't wanna talk about it-it was really just too complicated and kinda personal. But, it's sorted out and everything's better!

You shouldn't feel bad for your opinions on things because they are yours, not anyone elses. As long as people don't cram opinions down other people's throats then it's all cool. That's why I'm mostly quiet in crowds, I don't like to get people angry at me without meaning to. blush

that guy has the most fun hobby imaginable- and he's so passionate about it! Just look at his attention to detail! (check out some of the other ones while you're at the site- the one i linked to is just one of them and it's not even really the funniest) I am going to write down some of my ideas and start doing one...

Man, that pranks site rocks. I love the effort.

I'm glad you dig the band. For what it's worth, we do know about the 60's October Country - in fact, a guy who was friends with their singer actually got in touch with us, mistaking us for the originals. And I think - you'd have to ask Merrick (our singer) for the full story - the original OC actually got in touch with us, and spoke about us having the same name. There was no problem, though, and I seem to recall she even bode us well.

haha well I'll give it to her next time I see her....as long as you are willing to give it up now.

well, the show last night was slimy and satisfying- i'm pretty sure that we had by far the most interesting time that could possibly have been had on a saturday night in Assbackwards Hellhole, Texas without breaking the law. For one thing, we met a real live vampire, a 14-year-old prostitute, a really friendly 30-year old deaf Down's syndrome patient, a hispanic cowgirl, and a...

The more I read about it the more I wish I could have gone. Sounds like their were some interesting people there other than the locals.
I face the same delema with moving out of this cumbucket town. Good friends and my drum group. Oh well some day maybe.
undecieved176140:
Well at least she amused us...and danced...I actually missed that.

wheeeeeeee Morgan put up another set- and she's a redhead again! gosh she's a fox, and NO i DON'T think that just cause she likes to flash us her wide open beaver (wheee red hair there too!!) in her sets.

Also last night i discovered Eighties Martchbox B-Line Disaster, which is a band from england. You will go to hell when you die if you...
