Wow- I just realized what a fantastic dork I am. I have actually never ever thrown a party before. Guess I've been to what most would say is enough, but I have never had the balls to be a host. Of course, I have never had a house, an exquisite wife, a decent job, and a big city in which to socialize, either. Turns out it's a lot of work. My life is infinitely harder, and also more happy, than a year ago. Everything can change that fast.
Also, CocoRosie makes my eye twitch with glee.
