I'm going to try to keep this up to date with my progress. Keyword: TRY
So I'm working on a game during my month off from college. Instructors at the school always tell us we should work on some side project games whenever we have free time. So now I started as an intern for this mobile development company, as a programmer of course. One artist/designer and I are working on a game called Crush Hour. You can find details here: Crush Hour's Kickstarter
So far progress has stopped. APPARENTLY my dumb graphics card, although it's a high quality one, doesn't do well with OpenGL ES (the graphics API that's used for mobile apps). So now my game freezes up randomly and frequently. This game needs to be done by the beginning of March and I can't even run it properly to test if something works or not. Hopefully for my birthday I'll get a desktop, but I highly doubt it.
Side note: I just finished filling out my forms for my 2nd job. I am now a Tour Guide for Full Sail University AND a Lab Monitor for Full Sail's Game Development program. I'll be really tired between that and going to school full time. But hey, Challenge Accepted is all I have to say
