Soooo whats new in the life of yourArchitect you ask?....lets see;
1. yA has become the next Bob Barker......I responded to assist with a neighborhood group to use a grant to help control the feral cat population in the neighborhood. In just one week we caught 4 feral cats, one who was pregnant. They were spayed/neutered tested for feline luekemia, given manicure,pedicure and flea treatment, and marked so if ever trapped again. About 5 more to go just in my area. So guess I can add "swell caring guy" to my biz card.
2. Things overall are OK, still pretty stressed at work, but thats OK.
3. The HipCats asthma has been bad the last few weeks, everything is in bloom here in the beautiful Santa Clara Valley. We are cat sitting my wifes sister's cat Figaro for a week, so the HipCat and the BeBop's little world is in turmoil, of course, as is Figaro's.
4. I continue to dig the SG site and its members, I regret I had to miss a SGSJ function, that would have been so very cool to meet some of you. While I know I am most likely older than most here, I will be 44 in April, I can guarantee I am much less mature! AND from time to time I still get carded at bars....perhaps a little known trick of the trade to get geezers like me feelin good and in the spending spirit.....I loose my wine barrel belly, I could still be a hottie.
5. I have greatly enjoyed getting posts from those of you I have chatted with in the past, and welcome the new posts. I promise to update on a regular basis. The lovely Ella has been a very welcome new friend, it would appear that her intensity must be equal to her stunning beauty. Obviously, that is something I am attracted to, (my wife), not exactly a "delicate flower", also see ASH and IGGY......
6. I am pretty well happy with the direction of my life, it has taken many years, though, to be able to say that. While I am doing somewhat CRAP Architecture at this point, I can still say that I am doing what I am doing almost entirely on my own terms. While I will forever appreciate the times I was working with the late great Aaron Green, experiencing Architecture as being who you are, not just what you do, I am learning a side of Architecture that will hopefully ensure that it can also be profitable. I never want to retire, I think that if I die while drawing and designing my way, that would be the best conclusion. I am so very lucky to have found someone who lets me be me, and accepts the things that I am not wired for. The wif is amazing in that way.
7. So, to my friends who drop by and to those who somehow find their way to yA's little world, you are all welcome and greatly appreciated, its just so nice to be able to fire up the SG site and experience the greatness that is you!
