bad headache plus 2 excedrin = cant sleep! Plus took Ritalin late in the day!!!!
Time to simplify!
Called an auction house today, gonna sell off all my Arts and Crafts antique furniture and decorative arts, and a few of my Frank Lloyd Wright items, and other great dead Architects stuff.
Gotta streamline, less is best....As long as I have my wife, and a few of my treasures, thats all I need right now.
There is some stuff I just cant get rid of though. Like my Henredon Heritage Frank Lloyd Wright Dining room set, circa 1950's, all original. My Wes Peters book ends from the Benton House in Malibu! All the stuff I saved from working with Aaron Green including his book he inscribed to me, and his old buisness card from when he and Wright shared the San Francisco office. A taliesin lamp given to me by Taliesin Fellow Bob Beharka that he made. All my Wright first editions. My 1967 Gibson Barney Kessel Jazz guitar and 1968 Polytone amp. The sketches given to me from a former Walter Gropius apprentice when we did a couple of projects together. The photo of Aaron and Wright together that Aaron signed for me shortly before he died.
These things help get me through the day. They keep me focused on just what I want to accomplish in my life. I have to have my "stuff" around me. I have some at home and at work. I need to see it every day.
Others at work barely keep an Architecture book at thier work area, but to them I think its just a 9 to 5. I dont function like that!
Gotta get some sleep....damn no clean clothes...gotta do some laundry! Until next time......Love and Geometry!
