Thank You all for the Birthday wishes! I really appreciate it. With all the stress and activities that I've been going through I just wasn't feeling it this year. A part of me was relieved to have it come and go. I tried to celebrate tonight but was still not in the mood. 
I met an evacuee today from New Orleans and got into a great discussion about his experience and on how race and class played a big part in the governments slow reaction to the disaster. Even the bouncer at the bar chimed in on the conversation.
So after waiting 4 months to see OASIS at the Hollywood Bowl, I finally got to see them this past tuesday for the 8th time. They keep sounding better as they have gotten older and seem much more passionate about playing live. It was a good show. I also discovered a new band! Kasabian! They opened up for them and sounded amazing. I have felt this excited about buying a CD in a while. Love that feeling! Wish it could be captured. I just got the CD and would highly recommend it to people. Jet also opened up and did nothing for me. I don't know what people see in this band. There just a reincarnation of the Black Crowes!!!!!!
