Hello my lovelies
I have been signed off work for two weeks and I swear I'll go mad. I need advice on the things I can do, that don't involve moving around a lot, on my own whilst everyone else is working.
My lovely ladies from work came for a visit last night and they really cheered me up. It was great to be able to have a laugh and enjoy myself - I am a very lucky girl to have such good friends.
Today is a big day here in the UK. The elections have kicked off, and the exit polls show that it could be a hung parliament so it is all looking very controversial. It seems as though life here will be changing drastically depending on who gets in, and it wont necessarily be for the good. I guess all I can do at this stage is sit back and wait and see.
The thing that really gets my goat is how many people consciously choose not to vote. WTF is that about. There are people around the world fighting for the right to vote and people here chose not to because they just can't be arsed. Makes me really sad. But not quite as sad as I feel about people voting BNP. I mean you might as well have racist stamped across your forehead, no matter what they say about not being racist.
Anyway, that's today rant over
Lots of love

It'll be interesting to see what happens with the results. This is my first UK election so it's really interesting for me
