Aaaaaaargh!!!! I hate property management companies! Parasitic assholes!!!



So, it looks like I won't be moving after all.. for those of you that knew what I was planning on doing... for those that don't, it's like this...

There are two empty tri-level units in this building that rent for about 20% more than the place I'm in now... I was planning on getting one of them to sort of expand my business and get more separation between the live and work areas. part of the (verbal) agreement was that I would have June rent free to do the build out and what not... pretty typical business request and what they give all new tenants... there are also two other units that have been empty for a few months. There were two more empty ones but I got them filled by my clients because they liked mine so much... and I told them what a great building it is...

however, and this is weird, they wanted me to fill out their rental application and submit a credit report... uh, I already did all that with the owners of the building so obviously I'm ok, besides, I pay my rent about a week early each month...

anyhow, today I get a phone call saying no free month AND that my credit report wasn't thorough enough for them... grrrr...

*sigh*
