ROME! So far I really like it here. Davel and I spent five days in Florence, which was very nice, but now we are in Rome and I think I like it here more...
Our first five days were great though, we had a "four" star hotel (which really wasn't much better than a Motel 6...
) and a private car (mercedes) with driver that allowed us to have access to driving through the center of town where only taxis, trucks and private hired cars can go.
We toured Sienna, the Chianti countryside, many castles, churches, towers, walled cities... we went to the Mediterranean then to the Carrara Alps where we saw the marble mines... very cool... will post more later when I have a more reliable connection...

Wonderful! I loved Rome too though everyone seems to think that one should prefer Florence. I hope you keep on having a mega time my dear.
