It has been a while so let's update. As with the last blog I still am traveling a bit. I did manage to go to the other side of the country and made my way to NY. I love that city. I went out to do my first Santacon and interview someone for an article. More on that later.
Santacon was a blast. There were hundreds of them. All types and sizes. Punk Santa, sexy santa, gorilla santa. You name it. It started and 10am and went untill we could stand anymore. Most of my group spilt up and left around 9ish (I think). So a guy I had just met that night through mutual friends and myself went on and carried out the night (and each other). It was great walking down the streets of New York with 300+ santas with you sort of taking over. It's the closest thing to a protest rally without the protest. Just good clean drunken fun. At some point I convinced the dude I was hanging with to go into this swanky upper class bar just for the shock factor. A place called Japanais. We ended up taking pictures with strangers and getting comped drinks.
Hilarious!!!! Good times.
As for the interview I had always wanted to write so when this came up to do an article for a start up magazine I jumped. It should be interesting. I actually learned quite a bit. We'll see how it goes.
Christmas was good and the New Year should be interesting as well. I am hoping to make it to Sundance this year and see some good movies and lot's of famous people.
