Well, I'm getting nearly done on my basement. Let the record show that home improvements in general and wall building in particular are time consuming and SUCK! The sum total of man-hours spent on this project must be running at least 40 hours by now! 
On the other hand, my sister is helping out quite a bit. Getting that hole in the ground finished is the only limiting factor in getting her and my mom moved in. Mom has actually cooled down some. She gets into a snit whenever she gets stressed and I usually end up being her coping mechanism. Oh well, business as usual. 
They live between my shop and my house so I've been taking loads of stuff down as they fill boxes. The final phase of moving big furniture items won't be a problem.
Let's see other news . . . over there? No. Is it in this pile? No. Ah ha! Under the pastrami on wheat!
I was talking to the boss about my store plans and he's going to sell me a few display cases and (which cost used at least a grand each!) and he's going to GIVE me some shelving! This is incredibly spiffy!
I've got an accountant lined up, a bookkeeper (my mom), a store manager (Storey), a parttime cashier, is she's available (girly), a start-up supply line (my current boss), and a couple more people with expertise willing to help!
I just need to build myself a business plan, get a cost summary put together, find a space to lease and grovel and beg the appropriate banker. I getting there!
