yikes

Back from my camping trip. Quite a bit of fun other than the COMPLETE lack of doozers. It was horrible. . . all those slain doozers . . . little hardhats everywhere . . . the beavers got them all. From what I could piece together, the doozers and beavers were having a territorial dispute over water rights to the river. . . there was an insult at the summit . . . and the beavers struck without provocation, wiping out the doozer delegates. . . now, all that's left are their miniature forklifts and cranes. A sad, sad sight.

Anyway, on a brighter note the rest of the trip was great! Storey, Maxwell_Demon, and a few other friends had a blast. Not as much drinking went on as I thought would happen (I'm not much of a drinker myself). Went and played in the woods, did a grueling 10 mile hike into the National forest, went shooting (I[m halfway decent at that), fed the campfire, and got a little sunburned. There's worse ways to spend a weekend

Public Service Announcement: Do Not Let two Alpha male personality types drive at the same time!! It's scary-dangerous! Madmen I tell you! Made really good time, though. Still, it took two-three years off my life watching it;not something I want to repeat.
