I'm pretty crap lately with writing blogs. As anyone, I have been extremely busy + on holidays.

Slovakia was epic, went to the mountains with my extended family, we rented a two storey cottage/villa far from civilisation and the peace and quiet and dark during the night was a balm to the nerves. As a centre of Prague girl, it is not something I see very often.
I tried out some archery in there.

And found a new hot sexy date (though plastic)

Got back and jumped right back into the metropolis mayhem of work and extra-curricular responsibilities, which mainly consists of training and drinking
Summer training is voluntary and takes place in the park, instead of the training field, so we had plenty of oglers, but also issues with damp post-flood soil.
For last training, we had a radio reporter show up, he wants to record a 'do' about us. As it was our secretary/running back's birthday, we ended up in a beer garden after training. Most of the team left early, Wednesday is a school night, but me, her and the reporter stayed on late, got terribly drunk and were having rather open debates, which we found out later are all recorded on his lovely mic

Based on these conversations, the do about us could easily be called "WE ARE NOT DYKES!"
I woke up in the morning, quite elated that I am not hung over, but that was only until I realised I am still terribly drunk
I only sobered up around noon. Mind you, I was in charge of the morning meeting, so that was fun
Oops!

Another aspect of busy is that a friend of mine is leaving Prague for opportunities in London and he was selling his furniture cheap. I was really eager to lay my hands on this super-comfy sofa, which means, I had to make space for it in my teeny tiny flat
Monday, I took an armchair whole on public transport across half of Prague to my dad's. That was fun, mainly watching other people giggle and/or stare when I placed the armchair in the metro, later bus, sat on it, laid back and read a book
Mr Friend then showed super strength, when he carried the sofa to my place single-handedly, past more than two tram stops and all the time up-hill, in 40C heat. Bless him.
My lovely sofa for reading intelligent literature.

Same friend later held a Good-Bye Party on Friday in the most epic place ever! Totally wicked!
First I thought we would be going into a club, but the instructions said, bring whatever you want to drink and come to this place, ring the doorbell for Akira and I will come and open. "A house party, cool!", I thought, but it turned out to be something quite different still. It turns out, that he knows a gal who knows a dude who has a huge cellar, built probably during renaissance or maybe even sooner, looking rather gothic and he has installed a bar in there, in case he wants to hold private parties in there. There was a self-service bar, with loads of random drinks and a perfect host, who mixed the coolest drinks and prepared home-made sangria in a jar. It turned out to be the best party I went out in forever. He did the DJing too. I drank unknown quantities of unknown drinks, more often then not I think they were gin based, which is good, because I did not mix and I only left the party when I became so dog tired, that I had to struggle to prevent myself looking like a zombie

Saturday was time for more parties. Joint birthday of two of my team mates, colour-coded. The dress code was to come in wearing pink (representing one friend) and green (representing the other). The overall picture was wild and best of all was our trainer, who came dressed as a girl
We all adore him. The way there leads alone through Rape Alley under the bridge on the island, but that was the only trouble and well worth the risk. Party was great and football players all around
Head Coach (yes, you need respect to lead a women's American Football team!

Ravens

Also, started intensively following the Ravens through training camp. I feel quite confident about the personnel change after such a huge bunch left, for retirement or other opportunities, but as Ravens didn't draft any receivers, not took on any free agents for this position, Dennis Pitta's serious hip injury is potentially tragic for the team
Without Anquin Boldin or Pitta, this may hurt. I checked out Visanthe Shiancoe, which they have signed yesterday to replace him as TE, but not sure what to make of him. He only played four games last season and as I am an extremely green American football fan, I haven't heard of him before or read about his game. However, be it as it may, I am extremely excited about the pre-season rapidly approaching! I have developed a passion for this sport during the off-season, so hadn't had opportunities to watch NFL games and all my knowledge is theoretic from Googling and Youtubing stuff

Anyway, love you all, but time to go to sleep. Feel free to leave comments if you have them, whether it be to the personal part of this, or to bicker, tease and playfully abuse me for my team support
Sweet dreams

We didn't shave Zac (he wouldn't let us), so we stuck a skull cap on him instead
