My original plan was to write a proper blog. However, things got in the way and I am dog tired now
Things have been looking up this week. Finally!
Monday I picked up all the essential gear and then went to spend some quality time with my youngest sister. This is the result of gearXsister mash
Tuesday was cleaning day, so now my back is all screwed, because the cages are fucking heavy
Today, yaaay, I got to test my gear out and finally got to do full training again. I've gotten somewhat out of form over the past month, so the first 30 minutes were a killer, but then I've done okay
I must have had something good for breakfast, because today I had the kind of rare day, where whatever I say made people laugh
It felt good. Might have had something to do with mashing up training, sex ed and languages into the contents of one car
And finally, something constructive. After I have instructed my teammates and trainer on how to say "habibi" well and explained what "yalla", "3sma3" and "fhemti" mean, I spent some time procrastinating online, showing off my long forgotten writing skills
That was what I did so that I wouldn't have to face the bigger challenge - my sister is applying for Erasmus abroad and needed me to translate into French her motivation letter
I used to be quite advanced, but I haven't needed French or used it much in these past few years and my grammar was always my weak point. However, in the end, I manned up and did it!
Alright, have to complete training for Six Sigma Green Belt tomorrow first thing, so I'll say my goodbyes for now
And now I can go drop dead

Great to hear you're back at training! Go kick butt
Are you on Goodreads? If you're not, look into it. It's a cool place to find new books, rate the ones you've read and all that stuff. What are your favorites?
